Attention Panther Parents: This is a message from the Chattahoochee County Education Center. Our kindergarten classes will be visiting Callaway Gardens on Friday, April 19th. Please be sure to return your child's permission slip with the $12 admission fee as soon as possible. You may contact your child's teacher with any questions or concerns regarding the trip.

CCEC is hosting a Family STEAM Night on February 15th from 5:30 to 6:30! We will have visitors for South Georgia Tech and the Chattahoochee Valley Public Library! Join us as we engage in fun, family STEAM activities! We hope to see you there!

Attention Panther Parents: This is a message from the Chattahoochee County Education Center. This is a reminder that Wednesday, January 24th is an early release day for the district. CCEC students will be released at 2:45 PM. Please contact our CCEC office with any questions or concerns.

The Chattahoochee Valley Technology Competition will be held on December 16th at Shaw High School! Scan the QR codes to access rubrics for each category and to join our Chattco team! This is a great opportunity for our students to showcase their technology skills! Seniors also have a chance to win a $250 scholarship for each category, or win the Lou Dewberry Scholarship ($750).

Attention Parents: We apologize for the inconvenience. However, there will be some delays to our afternoon transportation for the following buses: Blue, Green & Purple. The Blue & Green buses will be combined and traveling to Fort Moore. The Purple bus will be delayed leaving campus for at least 30 minutes. Please contact our office with any questions or concerns.

CCEC is hosting a Literacy Family STEAM Night on September 7th from 5:30 to 6:30! We invite families to participate in hands-on, interactive STEAM activities that highlight books in our school media center. Families will have the opportunity to browse our Book Fair, and Grands Philly Phreeze food truck will be available for purchase! We hope to see you at the first CCEC Family STEAM Night of the new school year!

Attention Panther Parents: We are so excited for the start of school on Tuesday, August 8th! Here are just a few reminders for the first day of school. Only the parents of pre-k and kindergarten students will be allowed to walk students to class for the first day of school. Please limit parents to only two per student. Use the main building entrance. Parents must exit the building immediately after escorting your student to class. Do not attempt to visit other classrooms or gather in the hallway. All other students may arrive to school via bus or may be dropped off in front of the building (Daycare/Head Start) at the center of our campus. Drop off begins at 7:45 AM. Staff will also be available to assist students and direct them to their assigned classrooms. Please feel free to contact our school office with any questions or concerns.

Attention Panther Parents: This is a reminder that our CCEC Literacy Camp will resume tomorrow, Monday, July 10th. Camp will be held Monday - Thursday, 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM and includes breakfast and lunch. Please contact our office or Ms. Heard at 706-989-3648 or kheard@chattco.org.

Attention Panther Parents: I am writing you with a heavy heart to inform you that Ms. Martin will not be able to finish this school year with her 4th grade students as planned. Due to circumstances beyond her control, her last day with students was yesterday. It has been an honor to have Ms. Martin as a part of our staff. She has made a great impression on her students. We know that she will miss them greatly. We are saddened by her departure, but will think of her often and fondly as we wish her well in all of her future endeavors. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Ms. Johnson and Ms. Roberts (CCEC Early Intervention Teachers) are committed to making sure that learning for her students is not disrupted during these last few weeks of school. We can assure you that our 4th grades students will finish the school year Panther Strong! Please contact Ms. Heard with any questions or concerns.

The Georgia Milestones test is scheduled for April 25th - May 2nd. Parents can visit the following for Websites for more information regarding the test or to provide extra practice for students in using the online tools used to complete the test. Due to ongoing severe weather and tornado watches expected throughout the night, all students and staff will have a 2-hour delay tomorrow. Buses will arrive 2 hours later at the stop along with school starting 2 hours later than normal time. CCMHS car rider students may arrive beginning at 9:00 and CCEC car rider students may arrive at 9:45. Cold Breakfast items will be available.

The Chattahoochee County Education Center is hosting a Family STEAM Night on February 16th from 5:30 to 6:30! Students and families are invited to participate in hands-on, interactive STEAM activities. Families will have a chance to enjoy our student art gallery featuring student artwork, and Kona Ice will be available for purchase.
