Attention: Due to the weather forecast, Thursday March 18th 2021 will be a Virtual Learning Day for all Students and Staff.
Attention: We received a weather briefing indicating a likelihood for black ice in the surrounding areas beginning in the early morning hours for Tuesday, February 16th. For the safety of our students and staff, ChattCo schools will be on a 2 hour morning delay Tuesday, February 16th. Bus pickup will be 2 hours later than the normal pickup time. Remember that the Ride360 app is available to track your bus arrival. Again, school will begin 2 hours later on Tuesday, February 16. One Heart Beat!

As many of you know, our school and community has experienced a devastating tragedy this week. While we know that we all deal with tragedy and grief in different ways, we want to make sure that our community is as prepared and equipped to process this tragedy. Please know that grief counselors and wellness staff are available. Tomorrow, this team will be in place for anyone who needs support. They will be available at both school campuses. Additionally, the Recreation Department will be opened on Thursday so this team can be in place for the community to easily access any needed support as we come together during this time of grief. GaDOE has released the 2020 graduation rates. We are pleased to announce that the 2020 Chattahoochee County graduation rate is 88.29%. This improvement is a direct testament to the focus of our students, the work of our high-quality employees, and the determination of our families for ensuring that education remains a priority.
Due to delays in production, Chromebooks will not arrive until February. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause. Please continue to communicate with your child's teacher regarding their learning needs. Updates will be sent out if anything changes.
Attention: School officials are continuing to monitor the weather associated with Hurricane Sally. At this time, in person instruction for Thursday remains scheduled. Buses may be delayed. In the event of a weather pattern change or if any roads are determined as unsafe for buses, updates will be made accordingly.
If you ordered meals for your students, meal pick-ups will be from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm this Friday, 18 Sept at your students school. Remember, you only have to order one time per student. If you have not ordered meals, visit the school website & complete the meal order form under the nutrition tab
Reminder: Meal pickup will be until 1:30 PM at both the Middle High and Elementary campuses.
Reminder: To pre-order meals for each school age child who lives in your household that attends a Chattahoochee County School please complete the Nutrition Meal Order Form on the school website. This form must be completed 7 days before the pick up date for meals during the 20-21 school year. For example to pick up meals on Friday 11 Sept 2020 you will need to submit the meal order form by Friday 4 Sept 2020
Virtual academy students will start their online lessons on September 9, 2020. Hybrid students will not return in person until the week of Sept 14- 18 on their assigned day. Hybrid students will use Sept 9 and 10 to become familiar with logging into Google Classroom, Zoom expectations, the class syllabus, and student handbook information. Students will receive communication from their teachers regarding these procedures via email or Google Classroom.
Reminder: Parents & students that plan to utilize the Chattahoochee County Schools Meal Services which will need to complete the online Meal order Survey on the initial banner or Nutrition tab on www.chattco.org. Meals will be picked up starting Friday September 11th at your student's school location.
